- Go to The Jury Summons I Didn't Get Out OF
I have never done Jury duty. I would have enjoyed it, actually, but when one keeps physically moving around, it never seems to catch up to a person.

Once you register to vote, the jury duty summons begins. I have gotten out of it twice, but my hubby did not. It worked out well, though. He was paid by the steel mill and for jury duty. They even refunded his parking fees.

I was an alternate juror once and didn't get to vote on the verdict, but they did just what I would have done and found the perp guilty. I observed a trial or two while working as a beat reporter for a local newspaper. Trials fascinate me.
