- Go to Two Days in History That Should Never Be Repeated
For me, this is the reason we all need to read and study history. To learn from it and not repeat it.

I pray we never experience a repeat of such extreme terror. History does repeat itself, and we have a leader who is as hateful as past leaders in control of such nasty situations. Hopefully, he is shut down before the damage unfolds. 🙏

I remember when the bomb was dropped and ended the war. I was just a kid, but even then, I knew this horror was a game-changer. You're right: nobody ever wins a war. The time has come to end colonization and begin cooperation. Peace.

Mike
My Son (Ribcage) was in the US Navy from 1982-86 and was stationed on the Admiral's Flagship in Japan. He became a really good friend with a Japanese woman who had been a baby still alive after the Nagasaki bombing. She was raised in a Japanese orphanage and never knew or experienced any family. When he was in port she would ply him with questions about family especially she wanted to know everything about his mother and what is mother had been like. She was hungry for family and My son was hungry for his family. They became like family to each other when he was not out at sea.
