- Go to Gray Day, Gray Day...
The young ones quickly forget who raised them. Until they get children of their own. I hate gray days that never seem to end. Hope the weekend changes for the better.

The teenage years make for interesting moments because a little knowledge can be dangerous.

I was so blessed my sons were both perfect!.......LOL.........No, we had our moments, but their dad found someone better than me, and unthinkable as it seemed at the time, the family split into pieces. Both of my sons came with me, and we did cling together through those teenage years. The younger one was determined to marry his Mom!

Re: Sherri.....
....you hit it head on. DIL is college professor of English rhetoric and composition and daughter loves to catch her using words improperly when she is upset.

Re: Pat....
....I love your comment. My 15 year old grandson and my 17 year old granddaughter are the babies of the family and the most spoiled and they didn't want to move so they are playing it for all it is worth.

They are dealing with unorganized chaos at best, and teenagers think they know it all until they find out that they don't. I hope everything quickly fits into place for them. Dogs are resilient when surrounded by their people. The teens will figure it out over time. John and I have a fifteen-year-old granddaughter who constantly corrects us, her aunts, uncles, and parents. Life lessons will finally calm down her assertive mind, at least one can hope.

Sometimes it takes a while for those smart-a$$ teens to discover they're not the sharpest tools in the drawer. Like, when their own teens come along and question everything they see. What goes around comes around. Your family will be fine, even if the settling in takes some time. Remember? You made a change or two as you went along the path... And you're OK!
