Re: BearcatMike,
Cool, you've bought into the illusion that I don't spend much of my time in the comfy chair, watching one screen or another or both at once!
I have Prime but since they've gone to commercials, I spend more time with Acorn and BritBox neither of which have gone that route--yet! But they are included with Prime.

Re: CCT,
Great thing with getting to be an elder with a wonky memory is that I can watch these shows again barely remembering plots and solutions!

Re: Sherri_G,
One aspect of British shows I always appreciate is that the heroes of a series are rarely 'hunks' but more often normal looking people with great acting skills instead of great looks.

Re: Kabu,
There was an Australian comedy that I really enjoyed... I think it was called MOTHER AND SON. It was as good as any of the British comedies!

Re: TAPS,
It is sometimes too easy to fall asleep after lunch than at bedtime when I most want to go easily to sleep!

Re: Pat_B,
This is exactly why I don't watch much tv that has commercials!
Enjoy yours, too!

I will have to check out the Morse series. About 4 years ago, I started watching some British TV series, and I was hooked. Unfortunately, I did not renew my ACORN series on ROKU. I love the way you always seem to stay busy no matter what. Enjoy your day.

Being of English descent, I love just about anything British, but I'm sorry to say that I do not remember that. As for the heat, I am happy to finally get a break from it. I'm just sorry that others have to deal with it.

I love British shows. Australia used to get more British TV than American at one stage.

.....My spirit of endeavoring is diminishing since my last birthday. I begin and crash and then have to begin again. I even took two naps yesterday instead of one.

I seem to remember enjoying Inspector Morse on the PBS channel years ago. So nice to watch movies without commercial interruptions. I use clear baggies to hold yarn, too - and to package hat & scarf sets for donations. Enjoy your day.
