Good Evening

Pat, I loved this post.  Thanks for sharing it.  Anything that I read about the written word, I love.

I love Dickens. Mother had all of his books, and the first time I read them, I was too young to really grasp the language and the meaning of the Books. I read them a few years later and have loved them ever since.

Throughout history, those military men have been a chic magnet. What a treat to be in the presence of such a highly educated teacher. It was the best of times, and Mossy High School was lucky to have her. Regular smile

English literature was one of my best subjects. A Tale of Two Cities was required at my High School and College. My wife loves game shows. Questions about Dickens are common. I love your title. Your teacher is an example of my motivation for writing. There are numerous examples of unknown heroes in every neighborhood and person's life.

Same here.....

.....only my teacher was born here as far as I know.   And I should read it again as I remember practically nothing about it except for that "Quote" you shared.
