My Parents were hard-working self-motivated people....

.....and that just kind of rubbed off on me.

Good Afternoon

This is a good question. I have more than one answer, but the one I like the most is when I ask people close to me what they think or how they would handle something, and I get a lot of different answers.  I take all of that knowledge and think it through, and then proceed from there.  It's very motivational for me.  The most important part of this equation is to listen.  I hope this makes sense to you.

When I dabbled in student teaching, one of the biggest was self-motivation. To help people find that was quite a challenge. Your post does go to show that with some self-motivation, one can achieve so much.

Goal-oriented behavior is backed by motivation, which comes from wanting to not only set goals, but to complete them. My motivators are seeing the effects of my efforts positively coming into fruition. Girl hug

Success isn't just financial. Liking yourself and being a booster for others is also something that takes focus and effort - perhaps the two are linked.

After growing up in Australia as a 4th-generation European Australian, I was amazed by how people from Greece, Italy, the British Isles, and other places became wealthy in material terms. House, car, furniture, and living in the more expensive suburbs of their chosen city. It took me years to realize they worked. They worked long hours, sometimes taking on two jobs, both husband and wife, and children too, as they grew up.
