Re: Kabu
I know that feeling all too well. When I lost my first wife in 2018, I was totally lost and devastated. I didn't know what to do with my life... and did I even want to go on alone?
A few months later, I reconnected with Lisa (for those who haven't read the book, "Finding Myself Again"), and we had worked together in the ER for 17 months, which turned my world around. She wasn't Judy, but she was what I needed then and what I need now.

I am one of those people who go numb with real grief. I can talk to folks, hug them, and appear to be myself. It is easy because I can't feel any emotion. I can't cry; I just don't feel anything. Months or even years later, I will start to cry and will cry on and on; but only when no one is around. 3. am in the morning when everyone is asleep, which is good.
