Adnohr....

.......Not being too faithful to reading and  writing recently, I just by accident found that you are waiting again.  So I read all of these recent posts that you have added.   I'm so sorry about your own health problems and all the pain.  On top of that you are always helping someone else out.   I know that it is not easy to keep up with someone in health care.   Mostly they do not understand why you do not "take them home" whatever "home" means to them.   It is what they think they remember home is" and often it is no longer possible.   Please take care of yourself.

With the childhood you describe, Helene almost certainly has Complex PTSD. Her aggression is the release, finally, of so much stifled anger coming out at people who seem to her to be the same as the ones who abused her and controlled her all her life. It's an expression of the PTSD's emotional flashback that can be so subtle that even in someone fully aware they don't realize that it is, in fact, a flashback. It might help her to know that her aggressive behaviors are not her being mean or bad or naturally hostile, that it has roots and causes deep in the past, and these are not the same people as those who hurt her though they may seem to be, in the moment.

My daughter is going through a similar situation - and has been for the last two years - with her MIL. I sympathize with you and until one sees it and lives it, there are no words. Take care. You are a good person and a strong person to look after her as you do.  🌹

This is such a burden for you darling. reminds me of my Mother and of Wiley. Well they took Wiley away from me in the end and then there was covid...a bad time Now Jim isn't going to get better, but at least his issues remain physical and his brain sharp.

I was unaware that Helene is real. She has a great friend in you.

You certainly have your hands full, but you appear to have things under control, and you have a clear vision of Helene's needs. Good luck with locating those much-needed documents. Taxes are not fun, especially when questionable issues pop up. Sending you prayers that all works out well. 🙏

This is a tough situation, and one for which there seems to be no satisfactory remedy. Hang in there. 🙏

Good Morning

Oh my!  I can understand how you feel and how much you care about Helene.  I'm glad she will have a safe place to live.  I'm going to say prayers for Helene and for you.  I couldn't help but smile when you wrote about the time she stayed with you and misplaced things that you are still looking for.  I hope you have a good day.  It's very hot here.  Our heat index yesterday was 100.  It's just not acceptable to me.  I like cooler weather.
