When I had my beautiful Burmese cat, I put a pink ribbon around her neck once for a special occasion. It took her five seconds or less before the beautiful bow was around the front of her neck and the short ribbons dragging along under her belly. She made everyone laugh and seemed so pleased with herself.

I used a car for my driver's test. My dad's Ford F-150 and my mothers Expedition were too big. I had a step-cousin who used a stick shift. Those are easier to fail with because if one stalls the vehicle, it's an automatic failure.

I'm glad to hear you are past the eye surgery. I have only had my eyes dilated once. I had to wear sunglasses on the way home, and I couldn't drive. It was not a great feeling. Our sky has been hazy for the past three days from the Canadian wildfire smoke. The rain was a blessing that cleaned up the air somewhat. We broke out our grill last week for some BBQ ribs. I slow-cooked them in the oven and finished them on the grill. Enjoy your day. I plan to binge-watch my favorite shows today. 🎬

Good news on the cataract surgeries - I also noticed how bright the colors were after the surgery. The graying caused by the cataracts comes on so slowly I didn't notice it. Good luck to your grandson on his license - no doubt he'll succeed with flying colors.Â
