Thank you for your service, and a Happy Memorial Day to you. I come from a strong military family with members who have served in every war. My great-grandfather served in the Civil War at Gettysburg. For those who haven't served, it is sometimes hard to understand the life of military members and their families. The struggles are real, the pride is heartfelt, and the dedication is like no other. ❤️  💙

We are the best and the worst on this beautiful Planet. We range from laying down our lives for another, to living our lives to ensure others benefit from our efforts and deeds, to unbelievable greed, hate, senseless wars, ignorance and on and on. I became an RN to make the World a better place within my own corner where I would work. Yes I accepted my wages, because I had to pay rent and continue to live and be there for my two sons. Now long time retired, I am still nursing at home!!
