Re: TAPS
I like shopping though less than I used to. I do like eating out! We don't have a Big Biscuit around here, but on Wednesdays, BJ's Brewhouse has their fancy burgers for $12, which makes it a better deal than any fast-food place, and most certainly better food!

For us, too, or Lowe's for hardware and the 'plasti-dip' Charlie uses for finishing his boffers.

Re: BearcatMike,
My Monday is like your Sunday, most often. I've heard that a clock for elders needs to tell days of the week rather than hours.

Re: Pat B,
I avoid Walmart as much as possible, so now Michael's is the only other choice in this area for yarn, so I usually wait for their sales. I would love to have another specialty yarn store around here!

I do not shop anymore if I can help it. I never did like shopping. Now eating out I don't count as shopping so today Son Stephen, Grandson Phil and I headed to "The Big Biscuit" to see what they were featuring. Son & Grandson had never eaten there and they were pleased. I took half of my order home to have for supper.

Your Sunday sounds exhausting. It sounds like you got quite a few steps in. Our passions seem to reignite our energy. I try to do as little as possible on Sundays, but hardly ever succeed.

I've been shopping for yarn at Walmart mostly. Michaels charges 20-25% more for a standard skein of acrylic yarn, and I just won't pay it. My crochet time lately must be spent sorting and pitching stuff I've accumulated over the years, prepping for a move to senior living where it's all on one level and I won't have to fight the stairs to go in and out.
