Sigh when I was young I never dreamed we would lose all the movie theaters. They weren't just a place to eat popcorn, chocolate or ice-cream and watch the latest movies, they were where we socialized if there was no dance or whatever to attend. Even Pubs closed, first at 6.00pm, and then later at 10.00PM. There are huge movie theaters here with about 6-10 small theaters inside with plush seating, one can watch a movie in real comfort but it is a real expense and if we go day time through the week, sometimes we are the only ones in there. Can't go now , with Jim so unwell.
