Yes, Goldiec, it’s chilly here too in Chicago. We’ve come here visiting our younger son in Chicago. Back home, in our desert state capital i India, the temp is soaring at 46 *C .

Old Churchyards were unique in his time. My mother told me once that as a little girl she used  sit in the village Churchyard and fish with a bent pin in a little stream that wove its way through the old headstones. Today we are not allowed to have more than a couple of feet from the headstone, so the mower can pass over  once one is buried of course.  

One can imagine the young man's feelings.

Thank you for this post. most interesting and has left me wondering why human greed overshadows all suffering. It is as though give someone a big bank balance and they immediately forget their old connections and how to share good fortune.
