I loved those times. It was letting them go to their choices at 18 that was the hardest and later two different funerals, but I love the memories and the two still living.

Four boys in five years! What busy times those must have been! No time to tolerate whining. Your example of parenting is spot-on and it tells of a very wise and capable mom. The little guys must have been so cute. There was a family in our church who had boys spaced like that and in the pew on Sundays they were all lined up next to their parents, the boys seated next to their dad. The boys and their father all looked the same, like clones! It was amazing. Lovely post.
