Sherri.....
....Actually, I'm a bit surprised that I didn't break a hip as I came down hard right on it. So, I am using that incident as a learning lesson.

I'm stubbornly fighting the restrictions of old age.....but I am learning to settle down and be a good old lady.

I'm so glad you didn't get hurt other than your pride. Thank goodness help came. I have had similar issues. Getting up from certain positions isn't always easy, especially as we age. A helping hand from someone strong is nice to have around in such cases. Hopefully, mum's the word as far as your son telling your family about your conundrum.

Don't you dare walk anywhere without your walker. I know with Jim he must use his walker, I would have to get help. well I have twice got help to get him up. There is no way I can do it.

That line from the commercial is no laughing matter: I've fallen, and I can't get up. Lucky thing your tumble happened just at that time. It could have been very serious. 🙏

Good Morning
I'm sure your son understood what happened and was relieved you were not hurt. I hope you have a good day. I'm sending blessings your way!
