- Go to THOSE WERE THE DAYS
We were one of the last families to get TV so I was still listening to the radio for years, soaps and music and comic pieces. I loved the 'Goon show', British humor!

I remember how avidly we listened to Workers Play Time. It came from factories mostly that were making ammunition and War necessities. I was always a little worried lest they were bombed whilst the the comedians performed and the workers sang those corny old war songs. 🌺

Those were the days. It seems that we have lost our imagination. I often forget that you can dream in Technicolor.Â

This is an interesting tidbit on the history of radio and live entertainment. A vivid imagination would have been beneficial. 📻
