Except for crab, shrimp, and fish, I could easily become a vegetarian. Regular smile

Re: Ciel

How very interesting! You have given this careful thought. I usually try to allow my body to dictate what it needs. One has to be in tune with the nutrient levels one is experiencing so sometimes what I eat will vary since they fluctuate. Balance is what I try to achieve but it is not always easy.

Re: Sea Gypsy

In my view, it's a lot about knowing that meat was once an animal that had consciousness, emotions, personality... and if I'm going to eat it, to appreciate the costs of putting it on my plate.

Re: Kabu,

I remember Naut! We had some lively conversations. Your meat grows on a tree...?

I also eat less and less meat, and almost no dairy except eggs. My objection to milk products is about the industrial production that takes babies and mothers from each other, and for health reasons. I look to buy only pasture-raised eggs, too.

Plants are living things. If we ate  nothing that ever had life, we’d eat nothing. It’s a matter of choice as to what we decide to eat. Wise choices, hopefully, and to each  his/her own! 😀🌹

Kabu

I remember Naut well. I enjoyed his blog and learning from what he posted.

Do you remember dear Old Nauticous when he was here? He told me it's OK for me to eat meat because my meat grows on a tree. What a sweetie he was and is missed. However as sweet an idea as that was, I knew the truth but I still eat a small amount of meat. very small but yes I do.
