True, but he was not liked by many in his time. He had many antisocial habits, such as an aversion to bathing and was said to have a “smart mouth.” It is reported that when he passed, they had to pry his clothes off! He was probably so brilliant that he crossed the edge of our rendition of sanity.

Dear Sea Sis,
I completely agree that it is man that shies away from God, whose hands are invariably extended for any help, anywhere and everywhere and at all times. It denotes also man’s confusion, or better still, the suspicion about the presence of a Supreme power and of man’s doubting that Power. Liked the interpretation you mentioned of Michaelangelo’s. ❤️😊🥃🙏🏻
