.....If I can't do it my way, I don't want to do it at all, But we don't always get our own  wants so we struggle on and hopefully can help someone  else along the way.

It was madness really of course the care home was being paid or it would have been different. She was just in a coma for years and her poor daughter had to take her Father to see his wife every day. 🌺

Yes dear one would not wish to continue so long but I suppose if someone was paying for the care it is a different ball game.  🌷

Aha, was this dear soul your SIL who I recall you had mentioned passed away after a long illness? You took a taxi because - I'm not sure why but it's good you went and paid your respects. You did not go with your brother? I'm sure I would not recognize a lot of my relatives as well.

when I have to go, I pray it isn't at the end of a long illness that seems to have been a funeral that people would be happy for the deceased to finally have peace.
