I have a group of crows who visit my yard during the warmer months. They are pretty birds. I also have a hawk who watches my yard from the bridge. Things get pretty hairy in the animal kingdom when the beasts get hungry. It is survival of the fittest and fastest. Sarcastic smile

I loved this. In Canada a hawk was circling a tree where crows had a nest of babies. the crows seemed stunned into inaction and since I was seeing it all I yelled at the crows chase him away and I jumped up and down screeching. it worked. The crow parents and relatives flew into action and the hawk turned away. chase him chase him I yelled and they did. The babes were safe and the cows became my friends. They left all babies on the 4 acres alone, they brought back all the painted stone they had pinched from my garden plus other stones and on and on.

It takes one to beat one. Harsh justice . At least crows clear road kill. I always wanted one as a pet. Take care.🌺
