I have a group of crows who visit my yard during the warmer months. They are pretty birds. I also have a hawk who watches my yard from the bridge. Things get pretty hairy in the animal kingdom when the beasts get hungry. It is survival of the fittest and fastest.

I loved this. In Canada a hawk was circling a tree where crows had a nest of babies. the crows seemed stunned into inaction and since I was seeing it all I yelled at the crows chase him away and I jumped up and down screeching. it worked. The crow parents and relatives flew into action and the hawk turned away. chase him chase him I yelled and they did. The babes were safe and the cows became my friends. They left all babies on the 4 acres alone, they brought back all the painted stone they had pinched from my garden plus other stones and on and on.

It takes one to beat one. Harsh justice . At least crows clear road kill. I always wanted one as a pet. Take care.🌺
