.....He looks like someone I knew well, except he always kept short hair and clean-shaven face. He was a hard-working man and didn't give an inch when he had a mind-set. But he was helpful to anyone who needed anything.

Indeed. He seems just as you say and of “robust” build. However, though my husband doesn’t look like that, when some of the girls I knew heard I was going to go out out with him, they thought he was good looking but they were a little afraid as well. He was big, gentle, honest and kind as a teddy bear. This guy here in the picture - I think would be a “No” for me.

he was certainly ruggedly handsome by the look of this and strong. I wouldn't want to run into him after dark though.
