Taps, you sound like my wife. She has no patience at all. However, I know what you mean. Service companies give you an unconsiderable period for service delivery, like 9 am to 1 pm, and they show up at 1:00pm or call you at 1 to tell you they are on their way and arrive at 2 PM. They hold your entire day hostage.

I'm not very patient when they've made an appointment and then show up 'whenever.' It's not good customer service. One Murphy's Law way to make 'em show up on time is if we aren't dressed and waiting. Then we say, "Oh, was that today? Completely slipped my mind."

I hate how they will tell us sometime between noon and 5 pm. One waits all afternoon and then they are stroppy if they can't finish the job on time.

According to the Nestle Quik bunny, patience is a virtue. I'm pretty sure most of us get impatient waiting for certain things to happen. I usually deep clean the house when I am expecting company. 🧹
