There is always something out there to see or experience even when we are starting to feel that it's the same old, same old.

Sage advice. I am always the driver when we take our road trips. I once almost missed the exit to Graceland on our way from Pittsburgh to New Orleans. I had no clue we were anywhere close to Elvis's home until John mentioned the exit when we were on top of it. I took the exit on two wheels. Now, before any road trip, I research roadside attractions and make a note of them before heading out the door. In June, we are headed for a road trip along 50 South to 413 South in Maryland. I'd like to visit the wildlife sanctuary at Smith Island. If we have time, I will head down to Virginia Beach, where John was stationed in the '80s. It will prove to be a trip with plenty to see.
