Wow, what a sad story. When I was younger, I used to wonder how someone could be so stupid. Now, with a little more life under my belt, I realize that if we don't pay attention, we all can be part of this story, especially if we park our cars on an incline. Be careful, everyone.

This tragedy took my breath away, it is so terribly sad. I am glad I didn't try to get a license here for I know I am still a good driver, {A few illegal drives close to home here}Embarrassed smile but it isn't good to be in a strange country and driving I believe, when one is older.

I Gave up driving when I was 88. I could have gone on , but I know so many accidents happen that make folk stop and I did not want it to be on my conscience. I expect I could tiddle along even now, but WHO TIDDLES THESES DAYS.  🌺🌺

That is tragic, indeed. When I am picking someone up, I make sure to park my vehicle to prevent a situation like that from occurring.
