I can't imagine not being able to drive myself to work or the store, but I know that one day that will happen. My biggest complaint with drivers is that nobody goes the speed limit anymore. Instead, they drive at least 20 mph over the speed limit. People also run stop signs and merge onto highways without yielding to traffic.

It’s a hard call to give up driving. I’m sorry about that motorcycle driver yelling at you. It’s good you aren’t impacted by not driving anymore. I remember when you opted for the ID instead.

I gave up driving when I came to the USA to be with Jim. I had a Canadian license of course but just felt un able to go through it all again. so let it go. It has been a bit inconvenient these past weeks but family help us to shop and Jim can't do much of anything.I love my home and cat so I am fine.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend in the hospital...My paternal grandmother had three accidents the final week she drove. Dad yanked the license away. He had to at that point.
