It is wonderful to read of the major influence music was on your life...As a listener of music, I value it so much. Life would be dry without it.

Music and reading are instrumental to a child's learning. No pun intended. This explains quite a bit about your sunny personality. My husband and I both come from musical backgrounds, in that during grade school, he dabbled with the drums, and I played the violin and the piano. John's dad and my dad played in bands on the weekends and now our two grandchildren play multiple instruments in school. I have heard that music benefits our brain and development when introduced to it at a young age.
