Re:Taps

Yes Taps as well as one can be. I have just ordered  28 Carnation plants for a green house. I hope they will bloom at Christmas. I have been busy copying old stuff on here it is a bit sad to see how many have fallen by the roadside.🌺🌺

Re: Sherri

Oh! dear I just remembered Stan and Ollie in comic. Stan was a little guy and Ollie was very stout.🦋

We had baby chicks when I was a kid. Mom had a special heat lamp suspended over their nest box and made a special mash to feed them. Fun to watch baby chicks if you're the kid and don't have to tend to all the work that goes with it.  I have missed your posts, it's great to read you again. I hope all's well.

Ollie is a sweet name for a pup. Dog face I have always thought it cute to name animals with human names.

Chiff Chaff....

.....I had a sister named "Ollie".  She did not like that name so she went by her middle name "Joan".   I never called her Ollie.  If anyone did she was quick and violent in her reactions.

We used to get baby chickens as well. Not off the train, there was a place in a close town that bred them....back then!
