I hope your feet are keeping nice and warm these days, woolly socks and heavy leather laced up above the ankle. I also remember when leather was rationed, and new shoes were hard to come by. I believe that's when tennis shoes were invented, and now I seldom wear anything but fabric shoes with rubber soles. Don't dress for the office anymore. I hope you don't get chilblains, and your outdoor activities make you feel stronger.
