I think creating a painting is captivating. I think most artists have a creative side.  It is an expression of how we view the world. Good for you. I was unable to see the AI painting you saved. I think the older we get, the more we discover about ourselves. Not to mention, you don't really care what other people think. You do things because you enjoy them.

I always wish that I could paint or even draw but I cannot draw an egg only a chicken, but I don't like doing that any longer. Although I did six one night in the kitchen and was not popular. 🌺🌺

Photography often tells a story without any writing involved. I would have loved to have seen the watercolor you posted, but it has already been removed. Thinking smile

For me, I always looked at drawing as work. I would much rather write.

Seems to me the focus on a painting or drawing - not the same as focus on writing - brings a bit of a glow with it, an awareness that in spite of stuff that gets us down, there's beauty and joy to be had.
