Yes so many are seemingly withdrawn . Maybe they look for something lost🌺

Re: Sea Gypsy

Actually I do it or lose it kind of thing.. It must be a kind of inborn feeling, but I think some of the ladies miss their husbands to talk to . Yes Archie is always a bit , well I don't know what to call it. Good natured and a pain at times. 🌺

Re: Taps

I wish you had small greenhouse. I bet you would soon fill it with plants. 🌺

Re: Sherri

Perhaps many wish they had a garden all the allotments that once were a source of enjoyment seem to have been  built on here. Times change.🦋

I love gardening. It is the very picture to onlookers of substance, necessity, and happy thoughts. Whenever I am out in my yard mowing, digging in the dirt, or tensing to my veggies and blooms, neighbors walking by always yell out a hello. 🍅👨‍🌾Girl hug

CCT.....

......You make me want to garden even though all I have is pot's sitting in sunny windows.  Today I cut the root end of my new celery stalk and put it in the window.  It already had two long roots showing.   What it will grow for me is the flavorful leafy end that chopped is wonderful in soups and stews or salads.  I will watch for other things to put in my windows.  My other plants so far are not edible (at least as far as I know.).

You have a reason for doing what you do. Isn’t interesting how people can be friendly at times and at other times not so much? Archie gets upset a bit at various things but you take it all in stride. 🌹😀

You're probably viewed as a landmark in the neighborhood, and provide some comfort for those rattled by all the changes that have come with time.

I believe I have reached the age when I can be eccentric as much as I want....but I have always been some what "different" to most people.

Whether or not others recognize you in your street clothes, without a garden tool in hand, is the question. I'm sure they'd be interested in a friendly exchange if they did. And in my book, eccentric is a plus.
