Oh, yes, yes, indeed! I do so agree and this is beautifully written. There are many types of elements to knowledge and to wisdom, I think. Certain types of learning (knowledge) crammed down our throats can suffocate us. To become wise, one should possibly be aware, open and able to mentally view every aspect possible when contemplating a topic or a certain subject, I think. However, I do know that I have a need to learn, a thirst for knowledge, and I enjoy learning select things very much. When I do so, often my spirit soars. Perhaps those pieces of learning become little bits of wisdom, and though I am not wise or learned the desire is there.

I would think that very little benefit will come to an unreceptive learner, especially when forced to learn something that gives them zero interest. Being fully engaged during the learning process comes from an interest in the subject, and will most likely lead to banked information in the brain.
