- Go to Memories Are Made of This for Me...
TAPS - Thanks for the smiles! You're right, I don't think that exists.
But here it the on to which I was referring. It was/is on East 5th Street, but the pic is from about 1910. I never met this part of the family.

Re: anib .....
.......I'm afraid that all I ever write is informal entries. But I do certainly enjoy sharing with others who write here. Yes, I certainly do think that memories, especially good ones, or about good people, do help keep people interested and learning, and participating.

TAPS,
Do memories keep someone young? Your sharp memory does, so I believe. And moreover, it is not recalling but living those moments now. A good informal write.👌🏾

Re: Kabu.....
......almost every moment. I did not like fire drills or tornado drills with all those patients with machines of every sort attached to them.

What a lovely building; it has Character. You and I were both late starting our nursing careers and I am betting like me you loved every moment.

It’s great that they are repurposing the building and so nice that you remember working there. I understand that there was/is a building in KC with my family’s last name on it?

Nice to have memories that please, I remember the first time I came on Blogit that you showed a picture of you and a young man posing in a fighting stance.🌺

That is amazing! The old records center. It's been about 18 years since I ordered my father's service record from WWII from the records center in St. Louis - I do believe the buildings look somewhat alike. I'm glad they're able to use the space for something new. I think your work as a nurse was your true calling, but raising children is so important! 🙏 ❤️

You had quite the view. There is a building in McKeesport, just a few towns over from where I live that looks a lot like it. You have had a few interesting jobs during your life. Thank you for sharing a piece of your history with us.
