Hi Taps, I once saw man in a wheelchair as I passed by he said to me 'Isn't life boring?'

I went into the Bank for five minutes, came out and he was dead. So I keep thinking of the

good things and am still alive . I think? Yes I just keep breathing. 🌺🌺

I think it’s cool how you learned to use your laptop at 65! Good for you. Even though times have changed there have always been schemers and there have always been people who are the helpers in this world. It seems that not holding onto anger and resentment are good ideas for living longer, along with the usual things like mental and physical exercise.

The best is to enjoy and thank God for the years we have. I have already outlived so many friends, and family.

The oldest person I ever knew was a great-aunt who made it to 98...It's terrible the things some people will do.

Thank you for the reminder. I hope you don't mind that I added your blog post link to my post today. In July 2024, I wrote a blog post about the 104-year-old Lobster Lady who feels her long life has been attributed to having a purpose. 🦞

This is a thought-provoking post in that you covered a few different situations. I am sickened to learn that someone would use fire in an attempt to get rich by dressing as a first responder. That simply sickens me to the core. Life is short. What a privilege to get to see a hundredth birthday and still be able to walk without aid. Not all of us are blessed with the ability to see that day, but one can hope. As for change, I try my best to embrace it, but damn if some of those changes aren't hard on a person's intellectual level. I feel as though I have to school myself regularly to keep up with the times, which gives purpose, and purpose can lead to living that long life after all. Enjoy your day, and thank you for getting my mind traveling...Regular smile
