- Go to Happy New Year to You...
I would have been nervous to hear guns going off at midnight. That seems like a dangerous tradition. I'm happy that all is back on track for you. Being a nurse, I'm sure you are used to late nights and the unexpected. Hopefully, peace has been restored for you and you can enjoy your day. Happy New Year.

Re: Pat .....
.....Yeah, I'm staggering around but not from New Year's partying. Every year I show my age a little bit more. I heard the guns going off at midnight and then watched an old John Wayne movie after that.

You will be fine. Winter is a bit of a sleepy time. I dare not put the heater on in this room.
I would wake up tomorrow, I expect. I think I'll have a glass of wine for being a good boy.😊😊😊😊😊

Being up at midnight seems a bit like second nature for a retired night nurse. I hope you got some sleep later and your first day of 2025 is unfolding just the way you like it. Happy New Year!
