Nice to hear of them again. It was a bad year for walnuts here the shells just held shriveled potential. I think it was the lack of rain. Perhaps they will use the bird tables. I don't know how long a squirrel lives but I hope yours have enough food stored or are resourceful.🌺

I enjoy reading your Brick Street squirrel stories. I have to giggle at the nickname you have given the little buggers. I'm sure the fuzztails will be back to visit in the spring. I have two fat red squirrels and five gray ones. They are a lively bunch who have made their home in the stacked docks next to my fence in the marina yard. They have made trails that lead straight to my feeders and the bird bath.

yes they just might, they may have been sent over by their elders to imprint it into their memories, so if they need to move, they can.
