Re:
Sherri.....one thing I love about it is that their fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs are perfection. You never find anything wrong with them, but boy do they charge. Long ago it was on my way home from work and I loved running in for something. Now it is quite out of the way, but worth the trip.

Lucky you. Oh, I would have enjoyed that store. I love cheese! We have an Amish store about an hour away similar to the one you visited. I can imagine it also being overwhelming with too many choices and too many shoppers, but I would have had to make an exception just that once.

I do like the idea of plenty of help altho. Jim would never stop within a mile ...well that isn't true ...he wouldn't for himself but he went to a very expensive store and bought me much needed new winter weather jumpers/sweaters.

You had the opposite experience of Sherri, who went to a slow Walmart.

Re: Pat....
.....At least, when I got home, I shared some of the stuff with Sis Nila. That's always fun.

Pity you are not next door I have boxes of chocolates and biscuits galore. I must have over ordered thinking, well I don't know what I was thinking. It gives me the tummy ache to think about it. I keep watching a big fat pigeon he sits trying to swallow more food than he can hold in his crop. Wouldn't it be funny if we had crops like chickens. Chin up.🌺

It's tempting all right, all that yummy stuff, neatly arranged and packaged for convenience. And at only about 5 times the price it would be if you bought and prepped it yourself. I'd have splurged a bit, too.
