Kabu, I wasn't yet born, but my mom was a year later.

I can imagine there being a lot of turmoil during the 1940s. I have heard my Poppop talk about his time served during WWII. I would like to time-travel back to the Victorian era for a few days. Alarm clockGirl hug

I must say I would rather go back. It would be reliving my life, since I was born in 45! I would not have male children. No matter if I was living in Australia or here, Vietnam still looms large in my mind. I last some real friends who didn't die, but came back burned out shells. Another was at University studying to be a lawyer and he had to do seven years or reservist service; meaning if a conflict came up he had to go.
