Well, the word "Prdel" is fitting considering the rock resembles a big ass crack. Too funny! Your grandparents must have been quite the characters. 
I have a Bohemian relative from the 1600s who later became the first property owner in Maryland. Lord Augustine Herman was an explorer and map maker. Several years ago, I visited Cecil County where he settled and built his mansion. Thanks for the giggle. Enjoy your day.
