The world in storm and winter is a hard place for those who have to live out in it. That heating pad and lamp must feel heavenly to a kitty!

Re: Sherri
Last lot I had in a bag went all mushy, birds ignored them so I bought the last lot in a container£20 But it was double the bag size. I think sometimes a bag may get poked out of sight on Amazon. 🦋

Re: I hope that....
Well Taps sadly we probably ought to have given the birds shots. Perhaps when we are more civilized we might receive an antidote to put in the wild bird's feed.
Once when I kept chicken I had to inoculate about three thousand hens .
Some the old uns when I delivered eggs would ask have they got the fowl pest?🤭.

I hope that....
.....all the different kinds of flu stay away from me......but that is probably asking to much even though I had a flu shot.

Love that story about finding the stash of gold sovereigns - I hope the birds are wintering someplace warm and in the south. I miss them here in the winter, but spring will be here before too long.

I feed my feathered creatures mealworms and seeds. Walmart sells a large package of mealworms for under $10.00. 🐦

There is Bird flu here in the US as well. It kills the chickens and eggs are more expensive because they have to kill them all in the same building.

I saw something in the news predicting a bad bird flu this winter. I hope it doesn't materialize.
