Re: Pat
Pat it blooks like we are going to be taxed into oblivion . I suppose we used to have a decent wage and muddled along. So many folk are out of work feel they cannot cope.
Of course folk are living longer and need expensive free medication. I remember once four men my father among them 'We shall get the pension in three years time they chuckled.
The pension age was sixty. Not one of them made it..🌺

Re: Kabu
He is a rough diamond and does bring me bananas and treats at times. No some of the towns you would be advised not to walk through. I really think we have had the best years🌺🌺.

Re: Good Morning Goldiec
Of course in those days one was not sated with so many different taste. Bread did taste homely milk was creamy and butter was soft and delis. We have had gales but being down in low in the region, we have escaped most of it. 🦋

Good Morning
This post reminded me of a recipe my Grandma would make for us when we didn't feel good. She would toast bread and put butter on it and then heat up milk and pour it over the toast with salt and pepper. It was actually good. I think it was a combination of the toast, butter, and milk together that tasted so good. I hope you are staying warm. It's very cold here today. Enjoy your weekend!

I think you have the true vision and understanding of charity. I am sure there are good reasons, but Archie really could help somewhat with the power bill. it seems that I would hardly know my beloved UK now if I was there and I certainly couldn't afford to stay long.

Making good use of what we have can make the difference between comfort and worry about how we'll afford that next item. I applaud you and your brother for re-using pallets and not just letting them pile up in landfills. If you make a couple coins in the process, that's even better.
