Leftover pies and cookies? How lucky your family is to have a few morsels left. The kids and grandkids wiped out our sugary treats by the end of our Thanksgiving dinner. I did have a few leftover turkey and ham scraps to share with the raccoons. 🦝

I watched a little football yesterday and enjoyed leftovers from Thanksgiving at my son Rich's house. He hosted and went to some trouble to prepare vegan dressing, green bean casserole and mashed potatoes - using vegan (plant-based) butter, fresh mushrooms rather than canned mushroom soup, and it was all delicious. Maybe it was the love he put into it.
