- Go to With the Bad Weather Forecast Predicted, Hopefully, We Don't Have a Repeat
Good Morning
Wow, that was a severe storm. It also reminds us to be thankful for our survival. I remember the coats and shoes I used to wear during the winter in the '60s and '70s. Raised in Ohio, the winters were just like Pennsylvanians.

Goldiec, I remember the "Blizzard of 93." That was something else.
Western Pennsylvania was in a state of emergency. Driving was not allowed in my area. People were driving snowmobiles to get off of the hill we lived on. It was a great way for kids to make money from shoveling walkways and sidewalks.

Good Afternoon
Sherri, Wow! This was a terrible storm. They are so scary. I remember in 94, it was our coldest winter on record, and I spent my time worrying that the furnace would go out, but thankfully, it stayed running. I hope we don't have a repeat of this weather forecast. We are cooking at home, so thankfully, we aren't traveling. Everyone who is coming lives close by, thankfully. Stay safe!

That was grim time, I remember 48 snow was as high as the hedges blown by the wind Some American visitors were having a snow ball fight. It's lovely one girl shouted to me.
I did not think so the chain had come of of a wheel on our old van and I had to crawl under and wire it together the road was a mass of ice and it was almost impossible for our old van to move without chains.

I was unaware of that blizzard. Talk about crazy. Let's definitely hope there is no repeat of that this year.
