No tattoos here either and I just don't like them. They are so permanent. If it does help emotionally, what about the Butt cheek or inner thigh of a leg. large and so obvious yes I would be disappointed as well but No, there isn't anything you can say. I once knew a guy who had his first girlfriends name with hearts and flowers on his upper arm. over the years one couldn't read what it said but the funniest was that she had given him a false name so it didn't even have her real name on his arm.

I do not have a tattoo either. If I did get one, I would have to defer from donating platelets for three months.

Re: This is a Great reminder, BearcatMike. Thank you!

My daughter is an amazing young woman who works hard, respects her parents, and in general is a good person. Tattoos should never define a person, only add flavor to their personality.

I feel your pain. When our children grow up, we are powerless as parents. They get to make their own decisions. I remember my son after he turned 18. He started with a few. Today, he has covered most of his upper torso. However, he is a good man, a great father, and a great provider. He has always been very artistic.

What one admires when young might feel like a pain in the bottom when asked what it means.
