Re: Sea Gypsy

Funny you should mention I have a little hat that was worn by my mother. I might come across it but rarely.I always sniff it as it still retains a scent that she must have used.  Thank you for replying. It is futile to comment on comments if they are not read.

I have had dreams where I have believed to have forgotten to post. I am not sure why. I'm consistent at posting. I guess it's a worst nightmare kind of thing happening in a dream.

I just read something about people collecting things and then now no one wants them. Yes, antiquing used to be quite fun. One could find such little treasures. I did and loved each one. Now, I must unload my Dad's library and my mother's books as well, and so many other things. Stuff, who needs too much of it? Not I. Still, some little things I like to keep.

And yes, I read comments. They are important, I think. Thank you.

if I was alone I would consider something like that. Sell or give away my stuff and live tiny and pretty cozy I am thinking.

Coincidentally, I have been seeing adverts for small domed houses. I was thinking that shape seems like a good idea in light of all the windstorms we've seen over the past year. A dome would let the wind flow around and over it, rather than press against the flat walls,
or lift under the eaves to tear away the roof and shingles. If it were made of concrete blocks
that were formed with materials that also serve as insulation, the structure would also be less susceptible to heat in summer and winter's chill. No gutters to clog up with leaves in the fall. Sorry, this has gone on too long. Thank you for your thoughtful posts.
