I think it is a kind of security feeling, and probably feels like it is too much hassle to get rid of things. Rain here again worse for many years. 🌺

Once we all loved antiques here, but the phase has passed. My brother had six musical boxes, I don't even know if you would have seen one. They were the gramophone of the so called gentry . They wind up and play tunes one had a girl dancing. M.S.l still keeps them in a room. 🌺

I don't have much I have moved too many times.

Jim is the one he has lived in this house for years and it is crammed...I keep my stuff to myself!

I have a lot of knick-knacks and old photo albums that I need to donate to someone, maybe the Goodwill charity. I read an article about stuff you shouldn't leave behind when you take the rainbow bridge - just a confusing mess for your kids/grandkids to deal with. Maybe I'll have a yard sale. I'm still chuckling about the neighbor telling your bro to quit giving his wife all his junk. Too funny!

Chiff Chaff.....

I know from experience how hard it is to live with people who won't throw anything away and keep collecting. My husband had that tendency and two of my boys took after him. I paid a lot of money to 1-800-GOT-JUNK after they passed away.
