I am so happy you sipped your coffee and watched the children from your windows. Wondering if there is somewhere warm they can sit and wait. i remember one day after it had been snowing and I was in the local Town. Little kids were sitting in groups on the snow. Wrapped up yes but I thought it was terrible. Wiley had to drive somewhere else quickly because he knew without me saying I wanted to go and blast the principle for such cruelty.

You've got that right! Our outdoor furniture with its soft cushions looks inviting but is anything but with the chill of the air permeating its fabric, it makes the cushions feel like you are sitting on a block of ice. I love my electric fireplace. They make them look so real. I'd love to stay inside today, but my Mother Hubbard cupboards are crying out to be filled, and I need to buy the ingredients to make my lentil soup. Enjoy your day.

Yep, here too! Alexa says it's 33 F outside right now, before the sun is quite up. Gonna be a sweater and shoes-instead-of-sandals morning!
