My Father had it three times it was nearly a killer.

That is a terrible thing to get. I had it several times when I had my bread run. The dr. told my children's father to sell those bread runs before the work killed me. We did sell and took a holiday, before buying another business to work together. I have never had pneumonia since.

FSI, I've had pneumonia and it is terrible. I was so sick and I know you were too. Thank goodness your Dad took you to the hospital.

You poor kid! That had to be rough. Pneumonia doesn't fool around. It gives the body a major ass-kicking. Although I didn't suffer for three weeks like you did, I was hospitalized for two days in late November of 2007 with pneumonia. I was a smoker for 26 years before that wake-up call. During that time I lost weight and quit smoking cold turkey. I'm not sure what contributed to your getting sick, but I blame mine on the changing weather and the cigarettes. I'm glad that you lived to tell about it.
