Your aunt sounds like she was quite the baker. I just bought mine from the bakery. Angel food has to be folded gently so as not to deflate it, then it goes in an ungreased pan, cooled upside down, and it has to be cut away from the pan. It is a pain in the keester to deal with, and baking is not my forte. Confused smile

Sherri ....Do you ever.....

.....make your angel food cakes from scratch?   Had an auntie on a farm here who had so many eggs she could never sell them all and so she made angel food cakes from scratch all the time and always had the very best frostings or puddings or fruits on them.  I loved them but I never in my life ever made one from scratch.

We used to have roly poly. Long pudding jam at one end and bacon at the other.
