It is very difficult to watch such destruction. We have fires and floods here and those are bad enough. Seems like it's everywhere.

Good Afternoon
I'm having a very hard time understanding all the destruction that took place in North Carolina. It's heartbreaking!

A friend of Charlie's who moved a couple of years ago to Georgia is living in Tennessee now, until the power is restored at home: 3 weeks, estimated.

And instead of waiting like President Biden.
Trump is going down yet again to Yap about it all and get in the way. I hope he doesn't throw paper towels at people. They won't mop up much of the mess!! I wonder at us Humans some times. I personally feel Florida should be left to the water, the mosquitoes, the alligators and snakes; everglades and all of nature. it seems unreal to me that it has been made into a resort area.

Pittsburgh will embark on that same 10-day stretch of nice weather starting Thursday. I am looking forward to the dry-out so that we can give our lawn one last good trim and mowing. 😎

The South has its hands full. I pray they can recover from this latest catastrophe. John's aunt used to have a winter home in Florida, but because of the repeated risk of hurricane damage every year, she gave up on worrying about it and sold her property. Each area in the U.S. deals with some sort of catastrophic weather. For us it is tornadoes, out west it's earthquakes, and the northwest has the possibility of a volcanic eruption. I could go on and on, but you get the point. One must choose wisely when they purchase a home.
