You are a delight when it comes to any analyzing comment 😌.
These days I’m extremely busy with college examination schedule, and am unable to read much, save examining copies. 😝

You have some great comments here, dear Aba. The human state is one of mystery and wonder, loneliness and longing, fantasy and fulfillment, and even at times, happiness. When we feel empathy with another, we can share in the wonder of our humanity - if indeed, the soldier was a mortal. Love this.

I would suggest that the soldier does throw off an emanation blending old fears and a world that is now peaceful though strange. The poet has taken this as a subject for his poem and sympathy. Your writing is Brill.

I agree with the last comment. AI is turning us inward...but then I am old now and am invisible to most people so I don't really know what is going on.

Until you've walked in another person's shoes you can never completely understand what they are going through. I believe that empathy in humans is on the decline due to a lack of in-person communication. Talk is now done mostly through social media, which causes a detachment of sorts between humans. No personal touches, eye contact, or hugs. A lack of empathy causes a connection barrier between people, but it seems this is how society prefers it to be. Our world really needs to change, but good luck with that. Sad.
